Hi,
While uploading CSVs to Testbench in Circuitverse, it allowed me to upload any CSV I had even if it was improperly formatted, without throwing an error. I first experienced this when I uploaded a file to testbench with different columns/layout, but then it looked like it had uploaded without any tests being found, as the title of the tests changed but there were no tests visible. To ensure there was better validation, I decided to then try uploading a completely unrelated CSV and that was also accepted without an error message and showed to be a blank testing CSV. I’m running chrome on macOS but since this is a hosted application, I’m not sure this is a source of error.
To reproduce:
1. Open a new or existing project
2. Go to test bench and select import CSV
3. Choose any CSV that isn’t formatted to circuitverses desired specification
4. Observe no validation error and the test file is renamed but no tests are added.
Expected Behavior: Clean error message explaining improper formatting and rejecting upload
Actual: Accepted badly formatted CSV (with not allowed data types, different column names, different dimensions), renamed tests, and no error message was displayed.
